New tools to improve the sustainability of the industry in waters, waste and ecodiseño

A guide to improve the processes of recycling and aprovechamiento of waste, a computer application to estimate the environingingmental impacts associated to a product, and an improvement in the level of reciclabilidad of the waters debugged in industrial polygons are the last advances of the project Prosocom that looks for to increase the sustainability and competitiveness of the companies. In the frame of waters has been able to check that it is possible to improve the level of reciclabilidad of the waters debugged in industrial polygons, reducing the costs of operation of the company and minimising the consumptions of water of catchment. This fact contributes significantly mitigate the current overexploitation of the masses of water of the Valencian Community and at the same time increase the competitiveness of the companies.
In the frame of the power-waste has elaborated a catalogue of measures of improvement of the processes of recycling and/or valorisation of waste that can be implanted in installations for treatment of distinct types of waste of the Valencian Community of agile and simple form. This catalogue describes 66 measures, of which 19 are generic and 47 are applicable to specific industries.
Finally, in the frame of the ecodiseño has developed a specific computer application and adapted to companies of the secondary and tertiary sector of the Comunitat Valencian that serves to estimate the potential environingingmental impacts associated to a product, process or service along all his cycle of life. With her they identify those more significant appearances on which work to be able to improve his exert environingingmental. This tool has a handle very simple and will be able to be used by users no experts in the matter, as only they have to indicate quantities consumed of materials and power, as well as waste, atmospheric broadcasts and/or poured associated to the product or activity to study.
