Ainia Organises a day in Valency on valorisation of waste
31 January 2014
(Bio)Chemical products, biofertilizantes, alimentary ingredients, piensos, electricity and renewable heat, biogás, biofuels, etc., can obtain at the same time splitting of agro-industrial organic waste or other biomasses, applying the new concept of biorrefinería. Some companies like Azucarera, Imecal and Buggy Power already are generating in a same installation biopower and bioproductos like biofertilizantes or piensos, from his organic waste, with a perspective of aprovechamiento maximum.
These companies will expose how take advantage of the organic waste agroalimentarios by this road and how take advantage of the opportunities of European financials in matter of innovation, in the day 'Valorisation of waste: To the concept of biorrefinería', that will organise the technological centre

In addition to the business experiences, the day, that will develop in the headquarters of Ainia in Valencia, incidirá in the technologies and key processes for the efficient and synergistic conversion of organic waste or other biomasses in compound chemists of high value, biopower, alimentary ingredients, fertilizantes or piensos.
Advantages of the processes based in the concept of biorrefinería.
A lot of processes of valorisation of waste are ineficientes. To recover some substance of value or obtain power can generate new waste contaminantes or consume more power that the one who obtains of the residue. The biorrefinerías allow to take advantage of of a much more sustainable form the waste and opens the doors to many and new bioproductos that replace others of origin fossil.
The European Union bet by the bioeconomía sustainable
Ainia Is member associated of the Bio-based Industries Consortium, that at present has more than 60 companies and clusters European and centres of investigation. With the financial support of the European Commission, these companies have engaged to collaborate in the development of projects of R&D. The initiative is opened and the Spanish companies (agricultural, graziers, alimentary industries, waste, biomass, engineers of bioprocesos, chemical industries, fertilziantes, etc.) that wish to participate will be able to know at first hand the conditions during the day. Of here to the 2020, the European Commission foresees to invest almost 1.000 million euros in projects of R&D developed by consortiums of companies and centres of investigation.
The aim is to develop in Europe a bioeconomía that have sources of renewable raw materials domestic; it generate products of value like foods, piensos, material and fuels to local level; it believes put of work in a wide range of sectors in Europe and allow the rural growth in all the regions and sustainable places that promote the intelligent and efficient use of the resources.
