Ainia Presents a new system that will use sensors to scan products cárnicos in real time
28 January 2014
The challenge is ambitious, achieve a substantial technological improvement in the productive processes of control of quality and alimentary hygiene. For this, a consortium of three companies and two centres of investigation go to work of form colaborativa in the integration and application to real productive processes of the most diverse and advanced technologies of inspection in the control of products cárnicos. Supported by the CDTI inside the program of ‘Projects of R&D of National Cooperation', the project iTAC (Inquiry in Technologies Advanced of Inspection for the Meat Sector) is promoted by a business consortium formed by three companies of national field, SADA P.To. Andalucia S.A., Multiscan Technologies S.L. And Industries Cárnicas The Rasillo S.A., that to his time support in two important equipment of investigation and innovation applied to the company, the public organism of investigation Irta and the technological centre
The project is oriented to develop and combine new technologies of inspection that allow to scan the products cárnicos in different wavelengths (X-rays, visible and infrared). Of this way will be able to measure of fast way and no destructive so many physical properties like chemists, related with the quality and alimentary hygiene. The project iTAC has like aim also automate the processes of control and make possible the inspection to real time, with the consequent improvement and advance in efficiency and productivity, in addition to the corresponding saving of productive costs and of control. For this, the data obtained by means of the sensors of inspection advanced will process with technicians of fusion and analysis of data that allow to combine all the information and characterise of an integral way any product cárnico.
The project, that initiated in 2013, will finalise in 2015. SADA P.To. Andalucia S.A. is the company leader and coordinator. His activity focaliza in the production avícola integrated . By his part, Industries Cárnicas The Rasillo S.A. is a company of the recognised mark of hams Mount Nevado, situated in The Rioja and recognised for the export to the EE UU. Multiscan Technologies S.L. It is referent in the manufacture of machinery of destined inspection to the industry agroalimentaria. Finally, the centres that collaborate have a wide experience in innovative solutions applied to the sector cárnico. Ainia Technological centre explains besides with several patents and technological solutions of the application of the technologies of inspection more advanced to the meat sector and to other sectors.
