The challenge is ambitious: achieve that companies with a big load of innovation, are able to have an idea in the morning and achieve begin to produce it this same afternoon. To advance in this put, the macroproyecto European Flexinet is oriented to improve the implantation of the innovation in the processes of manufacture from the development of new models of business management digitalizados in all the chain of value. The new system, based in artificial intelligence, semantic technologies and new technicians of business modelling, will be available inside three years and will help to the taking of decisions in the processes of productive change when contributing rigorous information and to real time with regard to costs, evaluation of risks and simulations among others.
According to David Martínez Simarro, main researcher and coordinator of the project by part of Ainia Technological Centre and boss of the department TIC of the centre, “the agents of companies of the alimentary sector need to take decisions increasingly fast, with constant innovations and flexible adaptations to a global market and cambiante. Without place to doubts, the digitalisation of the companies is one of the already present challenges in our reality”. Besides, Martínez aims that “the models in which we are working go to make possible, for example, know the existences of a provider and that the system detect the steps to give inside the company, anticipate to the changes of the market or the simulation of the new stages in some surroundings of market tremendously cambiante, simulating consequences in front of each new variable entered in costs of production, prices of the market, analysis of risks, etc”.
The project Flexinet is formed by companies like Indesit Company, KSB AG, Custom Beverages and Higfleet, all they with activities very tied to the innovation and flexibility. Universities and Centres of leading Investigation in the development of systems based in artificial intelligence, semantic and technical technologies of business modelling, like the Technological Institute of IT, will form part of this European project. The technological centre Ainia, by his part, will be the attendant to design and validate the robustness of the model to apply in the sector of the feeding, as well as of the pilotage of the solution in industrial surroundings for the obtaining of conclusions.
