In the future, the warehouse had to be in degree to deliver on-line requests inside 24 hours.

SSI Schaefer received the commission to install the new warehouse of spare parts. “For us it was very important to work with a company with representation all over the world since also we have delegations in other countries. However, it was decisive that Ssi Schaefer like provider of integral systems has presented a complete solution very convincente”, affirms Hartmut Conrad, director of projects in the Bucher Schörling AG. It agreed a date of fixed ending for January of 2013.

Now five vertical elevators automatic with a height of 7 m and a width of 3 m serve for the consolidation, the put to disposal, the storage and the picking of a total of 15.000 small pieces. And this that the elevator needs only the tenth part of the surface compared with a solution of conventional static storage. The software of the automatic system of storage is directly connected to the system ERP of Bucher Schörling. Of this form, the requests are transmitted to the Logimat after his reception and realizar immediately. During the process the software ensures that the processing of the orders realizar with the greater degree of possible efficiency. Also it can realizar the picking of an order of parallel form in several elevators at the same time.

Three additional options: The elevators have of a system of leading laser that identifies the positions of collected of the pieces of spare of form totally automatic. With the option LogiLift can adjust in continuous the height of the window of access; this option provides, therefore, a height of collected adapted to the operarios. The device of inclination LogiTilt facilitates a healthy work and at all complicated bending the tray of collected automatically to in front. “This have not seen it in any another automatic vertical warehouse”, comments the Mr. Conrad.
