Ainia And Aqualogy create a line of conjoint work in footprint hídrica

Ainia technological centre and the Foundation Aqualogy have kept a meeting of work to advance in the agreement mark subscribed the past month of October in the headquarters of Aqualogy in Madrid, between Sebastián Subirats, director of Ainia, and Arsenio Elm, vice-president of the Foundation Aqualogy. This agreement, that is cream to promote the scientific and technical investigation in the gestión of the integral cycle of the water, with the end to improve the sustainability of the resource in the alimentary sectors, environingingment, power, pharmacy and cosmetic, has concretised in several lines of work. On the one hand, Ainia and Foundation Aqualogy, through Aqualogy, the global mark of integrated solutions of the water for a sustainable development, go to work together in projects of footprint hídrica for companies of the alimentary sector taking advantage of his capacities and experience.

The footprint hídrica or footprint of water is an indicator of the use of the water and defines like the freshwater total volume used to produce the goods and services produced by a company. The use of the water measures in the volume of water consumed, evaporated or contaminated by unit of mass generated. It participates also in projects of innovation on footprint hídrica related with his calculation in the sector of the urban cycle and is llevar practical cases in the sector of beverages.

In the meeting kept also signed a specific agreement of collaboration for the conjoint realisation of programs of learning in the field of the integral gestión of the water. Fruit of the same, has materialised a first consistent activity in a Course of Specialisation in the Integral Gestión of the Water in the Alimentary Industry, headed to technicians of alimentary companies of Spain or Latin America and that will launch during the last cuatrimestre of 2013.
