The first mill of oil of the Sole family, and according to the tradition of our ancestors have and produce their own olive oil, was created by the maternal grandfather of Mariano Llevat family.
With the passage of time, in the year 1944, the paternal grandfather, Anselmo Solé, decided to open a new mill with more production capacity and open to the families of the people that they necessitate their use.
After 43 years of operation, the current owners of Olis Solé, Antonio March Hortoneda and Ester Solé Llevat, decided to modernize the facilities of the company and the current mill was opened in the year 1987. This works with the method of centrifugation (continuous system), leaving behind the traditional method of mill stones, that crushing the olives, and pressing for straining, extracting the oil from the olives.
This family tradition has led to that the Extra Virgin olive oil made by the Sole family is appreciated on the market, thanks to the screed from years and years producing a high quality oil.
