We, the payeses of the Denomination of Origin The Garrigues, have done of the oil of the olive arbequina extra virgin a form of life. A form to understand and love our landscape so that you enjoy of the flavour of our earth to your house.

This is one of the territories with more tradition and excellence in the manufacturing and commercialisation of oils in Catalonia. It is the first DO of oil recognised to the Spanish territory (1975), certified the 1996 by the EU like DOP.

Situated south of the province of Lleida, the zone of production is, especially, culture and tradition. It checks strolling by these fields and villages of the region of The Garrigues, the south of the Segrià and the south of the Urgell, regions that conform the geographic zone of the Denomination of Origin Protected The Garrigues.

The Regulatory Council is the organism of control and certification, the one who after rigorous controls of quality, awards the labels of certification numbered, that are the stamp of quality and the authentic guarantee by the consumer of the virgin oil extra that produces with Denomination of Origin The Garrigues. All the steps until obtaining the virgin oil extra with Denomination of Origin Protected The Garrigues take place in the geographic zone protected and recognised: the plantations, the production, the manufacturing, the packaging.
