The Interprofesional of the Oil of Oliva Spanish will do promotion in Spain, India and Indonesia

Was the place chosen to announce a new milestone in the short history of the organisation. The Interprofesional of the Oil of Oliva Spanish will manage, in the next three years, two programs of promotion cofinanciados by the European Union. Like this it communicated it the executive of Brussels that finishes to select 22 programs of promotion of the current announcement. The Interprofesional has been the only entity that has attained the support of the European Commission to sacar two programs in this announcement. The first program will go allocated to promote the consumption of the oils of olive and boost his culture in our country. Of this form gives continuity to the program that developed in our market between the year 2009 and 2012, that also had the cofinanciación of the European Commission and the Government of Spain.

With both programs gives answer to the priorities that the Interprofesional has detected in the sector, the opening of new markets that are able to grow with strength in the next years, without losing of sight to a market prioritario for us, the one of our country, that still requires to boost the knowledge on the oils of olive, his virtues and his employment in the kitchen.

Both programs will set up along the exercise 2013 and will have a length of three years. The European Commission will fund 50% of the cost, the Interprofesional of the Oil of Oliva Spanish will assume 45% and 5% remaining will run to charge of the Ministry of Agriculture, Feeding and Environingingment.
