Citoliva Faces 2013 with a new wallet of services

The Technological Centre of the Olivar and of the Oil (Citoliva) has celebrated this morning the last of the annual meetings of his Board of Trustees in which it has approved the Plan of Performance for the 2013, that the Foundation faces with a new wallet of technological services and no technological that present like solutions to the real needs of the companies of the sector and will guarantee in terms of competitiveness his positioning in the current market.

To reach this aim will set up performances of advice and skilled technical assistance, oriented specifically to producing companies oleícolas, that contribute to the development of a product of quality differentiated. Likewise, during 2013 it will put to disposal of the sector an alimentary juridical service specialised in labeling, advertising and presentation of the alimentary products, with which pretends to help to the companies so that they fulfil of suitable and effective form with all and each one of the requirements demanded by the rule of the EU, especially with those that are related with the destined alimentary information to the final consumer.

On the other hand, Citoliva will continue the bet by his Experimental Kitchen, Cooking-Lab, the only experimental kitchen of our country devoted in exclusivity to the development of healthy products with olive oil or any of the components, that explains between his main technological infrastructures with a pilot plant of processed and barren packaging. It will offer to the sector advice for the improvement of a product or existent process based in the formulation and/or replacement of ingredients, for the optimisation of alimentary processes or for the generation of a new product or process based in the utilisation of the olive oil or in any of his by-products. Besides, it will develop projects to demand of companies referents in the sector agroalimentario, and projects promoted by Citoliva surroundings to the binomial olive oil and health, whose results will generate innovations of products, processes or services with a strong impact in the markets and with a marked profit for the community.

Another of the aims for 2013 goes through to position of face to the new European program of investigation Horizon 2020 and in the program LIFE+, financial instrument of the European Union for the environingingment. Besides, through the Association AEI of the Sector Provider Oleícola, Inoleo, managed by Citoliva, will boost and will promote the internationalisation of the companies of the sector Provider of Goods and Services of the Sector Oleícola and will improve his positioning in emergent markets. Besides, Citoliva will promote the participation of Inoleo in a new project of the VII Program Marco, that pursues a handle sustainable of the olivar.

With all these actions Citoliva will boost the economy, by means of the promotion and the stimulus of the improvement of the competitiveness of the companies of the sector, by the road of the technological development, the quality, the internationalisation, the innovation, as well as by means of the diffusion and transfer of his results, in the sectors related with the olive oil and the olivar, and with the agriculture and industry agroalimentaria in general, loaning the necessary services to achieve it.
