What is the Stereolithography?
The Stereolithography is a process of rapid realization of prototypes using the stratification for the construction of a model of design. The technology uses liquid resins fotopoliméricas that solidify when exposed to ultraviolet light. A computer program translates a 3D CAD model electronic "stl" used by the machines estereolitográficas, organizing the information into layers. A laser of ultraviolet ray trace each section of the CAD model on the surface of a VAT of resin fotopolimérica, thus materializing the CAD model of the part, layer to layer. In addition to the technology described in the introduction, the use of suitable materials represents a large part of the success of the Stereolithography.
