As already sucedió in the previous edition, the mark was present in the appointment of the container and the alimentary industry, where a big influx of public, from autonomous, engineers, manufacturers of machinery and big multinationals, could approach to the stand to see the innovations that the mark is entering in the market. Like this they could see at first hand the new appearance of the tool of programming Automation Studio 4, which B&R has foreseen to free to finals of this year 2012. They were the own engineers of applications of the technical department of B&R Spain those that showed and explained the novelties that Automation Studio 4 incorporates.

One of the first novelties to stand out is the called ‘Modulate software engineering', that allows that several members of a same team of development can work in a same project in parallel. Another of the improvements of Automation Studio 4 is the graphic surroundings for the edition of the tree of hardware known like System Designer. It works of parallel form to the current editor, and allows that simply doing ‘drag & drop' of the new catalogue of hardware can create a configuration of hardware in little time. Besides, thanks to a collaboration with Eplan, is possible to export and matter the tree of hardware of a project of Eplan Electric P8. Finally mention the addition of new functions of programming, the support of the language C++, OPC UA and the management of sending and receipt of messages HTTP in this last version of Automation Studio.

But no only have presented novelties in the surroundings of programming. All the stand of B&R presented novelties of hardware. Could find the new families of industrial PC with processors Atom APC510 and APC511, of which fits to stand out his compacidad and escalabilidad. Another novelty that works with technology Atom are the Power Signpost 500 of stainless steel, which have been designed to fulfil with the exigencias that the hygienic surroundings require (DIN IN 1672-2). Besides, they are available with different categories of protection, from IP65 until IP69K.

Also they were present innovations in the family of modules X2X. For example, the new botoneras of 6 buttons with lighting in 4 colours and with protection IP65, the cuales follow bearing M8/M12. As well as the new module of analog entrances of high density, which allow to connect until 8 channels; or the module that allows an analysis frecuencial of analog signals oriented to the prevention of damages in components of scheme, as they can be the cojinetes. To finish, also saw new modules that give support to the protocols of communication Profinet, M-Bus or IO-Link.

Like last, but no less important, do quotation to miscellaneous of the new equipment of the surroundings of motion. The first of them is the family of servo accionamientos decentralised ACOPOSmuilt65m. With this family of products, B&R enters to the market some servo accionamientos that are mounted directly on the own engine. The most interesting characteristics of this range of products are his category IP65, the conexionado with hybrid cables (power, communications and safety) and the capacity to hang from him other modules decentralised of the family X67. The second is the version of ACOPOSmicro servo able to work with linear motors LinMot. Of this way B&R is able to integrate in his solution a technology in peak as it is the one of the linear motors.

As it is usual in B&R in all the fairs to which took, brought a machine of demonstration of name Packer with which B&R showed his capacity of integration of the robotics in his system. In this machine there are three robots of different manufacturers: an arm robot of Stäubli, a robot spider and a robot XYA. All they moved by the servo accionamientos ACOPOSmulti and controlled by an alone PLC doing use of the technology CNC/Robotics. Add that, in addition to controlling the profiles of movements of all the robots, the same PLC managed until four screens HMI, the safety, the periphery of entrances and exits and the pneumatics, amongst other. That is to say, a real example of a complete integration of all the necessary elements to manufacture a machine using B&R. This machine of demonstration had a big received between the assistants to the fair. No in vain, could observe like the three robots did different typical operations of any process of packaging, like placing a ball of golf in a base, cover it or descartar the same according to his colour. This last operation thanks to that in addition to integrating the robots in his system has a camera of Cognex totally integrated cheese cheese in Powerlink, thanks to the existent collaboration between B&R and Cognex.
