Plastired: an example of collaboration
In the world of the plastic we are not many, and everybody knows almost everyone. It is a mature sector, which generated many associations, technology centres and other related services. It unites us the base material, with its particular and noble characteristics and that so many benefits has given - and remains - to all mankind.
But we are low hours. Plastics do not enjoy good press, and grassroot initiatives contributing inmerecidamente to this, while the sector has made in recent years strongest investment in aspects related to the environment. We must, together, help to restore the prestige that this material should never lose. To this end, the unit is more important than ever.
Unlike the Association Fetraplast, who has been given - is said to temporarily - to continue its activities in the framework of Anaip, the tecnológico-universitario world is giving an example of how synergies and economies of scale can be obtained generating partnerships operating positively.
Plastired, recently created and currently focused through a videoconferencing system, groups originally Spanish technological centres geographically dispersed (Aimplas-Valencia, Igape - El Ferrol, Incytep-Madrid, TIIP-Zaragoza) summoned by this last (workshop of injection of the industry of plastics), to jointly offer their services to the industrySpanish and Latin American.
It is an ambitious project, and open, that should deserve recognition and support of the sector, and that we want to grow and consolidate.
