The K 2010 will showcase the new range of hybrid injectors of BMB

With the introduction of the new series Hybrid eKW, BMB has completely redefined the concept of the hybrid machines which, until now, were basically hydraulic equipment with electric spindle units. The eKW series is fully electric operation, except for the movement of injection, carried out by hydraulic accumulators.
This new series, available with strengths of closing of 200 to 1.500 tonnes, has been developed to satisfy the increasing demand of energetic saving, but without losing the capacity of performance of the fast cycles of the electrical machines.
The machines of eKW Hybrid combine to perfection the advantages of the series eKW of machines totally electrical, in terms of consumption of power, of broadcasts of sound, of precision and cleaning, with the speed and the provision of injection of the machines of the famous hydraulics series\1kW\2
The innovations of the series eKW Hybrid incorporate the unit of closing of the series\1kW\2patented to world-wide level, whose particular geometry deletes a possible deviation during the phase of injection.
EKW machines injection unit consists of a spindle of recirculation of planetary roller with a high load capacity that operates in oil bath and is powered by engine Torque. Plasticizing and injection movements are carried out with two coupled synchronous motors: the first engine performs the injection and the second movement of rotation. The form of command is direct, without any body of transmission. Therefore there is no loss in performance by movements, obtaining excellent dynamics with high to low number of revolutions pairs. The engines are cooled by liquid and allow very fast cycles without recalentamientos.
All engines used in the eKW machines are activated and ruled by a CNC numerical control for machine tool. Drives, connected between them, recover the energy from braking, increasing the energy efficiency of the system.
The system, fully integrated with the drive and control functions, makes simple search set parameters and full respect for all values of the work cycle.
The procedure of setting parameters has been significantly simplified and requires only 3 values: position, speed and strength. The rest is handled by the machine, reaching the parameters with centesimal precisions accuracy, by automatically regulating the accelerations and decelerations.
Practical example
A fuel transfer eKW 45pi/3450 Hybrid with a cast of 12 cavities for vessels and a cycle of 3.9 seconds, including the robot of extraction, consumes 45.4 kW/h. Therefore, a specific consumption of 0.34 kW/kg to 0.7 kW/kg of a hydraulic machine with electrical spindle unit for plasticizing.
