Multibase combines comprehensiveness and silicone in the K 2010
September 30, 2010
Thermoplastic silicone based
The EIS and the TPSiV are thermoplastics based silicone which offer the advantage of combining two worlds: the silicone and thermoplastics. These two ranges offer countless perspectives especially in terms of aesthetic qualities (silky touch) or technical (fluency and several resistors). The TPSiV is born from a unique and patented, technology without plasticizer.
masterbatches Siloxano
The range of masterbatches Siloxano is a safe bet. The formulations innovative of these materials used as additives in the polyolefins and elastomers significantly improve their characteristics. The benefits of the use of these masterbatches are a reduction of the coefficient of friction as well as a significant improvement in the properties on surface in general.
MULTIFLEX TPE/TPO
The wide range of Multiflex TPE/TPO allows the company to be always very active in the automotive sector, especially in markets such as security, aesthetics, the structural and thermal and acoustic insulation.
Masterbatch micro-talco
Micro-talco masterbatch is a specialty of Multibase with a more environmental focus and 'eco-friendly' involvement. Indeed, this material may be a solution to strengthen the technical properties and lighten plastics at the end of its useful life.
General Purpose TPE
The General Purpose TPE range (or standard range TPE) account with different hardness (0 Shore A up to 45 Shore D), with a multitude of technical properties and colours (natural, black, translucent, transparent...).
A global company
Multibase has plants in Saint-Laurente du Pont (France), in Daman (India) and Copley (United States) and, from the month of May 2010, also with another plant in the Chinese town of Zhangjiagang.
"Our decision to internationalize our services and products is the result of a long experience of more than 20 years in that part of the planet." "We realize that our strength lies in the complementary nature of our technical resources and, thanks to this new unit in Asia, have a formidable power of development for our thermoplastic elastomers," explains the company.
