Hoist continued celebrating its Centennial with events

Izar cutting tools has recently experienced two remarkable events that make reference to its long history. In 2010 the Basque firm turns a century of activity, and therefore different acts of commemoration take place throughout the year.

Thus, Monday September 6 was opened to the public exhibition that illustrates the different stages that the company has passed.

On the other hand, on Thursday, September 9, in the Centre cultural Celayeta where sits the exhibition, was presented to the public the book that collects the eventful life of the company by its author Fran Illarramendi, Amorebieta.

This was attended by a large influx of public and the participation of various institutional personalities as the Director of innovation and economic promotion of the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia, Izaskun Artetxe, regional Deputy of economic promotion, Iñaki Hidalgo, and the Mayor of Amorebieta-EtxanoDavid Latxaga.
