May 13, 2010
The Laser Tracker ION, released in the autumn of last year, stands out for its volumetric accuracy which has improved by 27% in relation to the previous model, reaching 0,049 mm at 10 m. The range of measuring diameter has expanded 36%, up to 110 m, and weight decreased by 12%, up 17.7 kg. The tracker is used for applications such as alignment, installation of equipment, inspection of components, manufacture and Assembly of tools, and reverse engineering.
At the stand of Lighthouse visitors may also read the latest technologies and solutions of the portable arms Laser Scanner Photon, Gage, FaroArm and ScanArm and different software solutions.
Arms Faro Gage, Gage Plus and PowerGage provide in situ measurement results for all components, tools and assemblies, and do so directly in the Centre of machines or in the tool itself. The Laser Scanner Photon allows documentation of inventory and measurements of large pieces as well as ships in factories in fast and simple way with a speed of measurement of up to 976.000 points per second and a range of measurement of 120 meters.
All beacon systems have an open software architecture and work not only with the software CAM2Q and Faro Scene but also with Autodesk, Delcam, Geomagic, Polyworks, Tebis and many more.
"We are pleased that we can demonstrate once again the latest developments in the field of portable 3D measurement technique as well as the different solutions that we provide for almost all tasks of medicíon in the industry," says Alayn RedondoRegional manager of Lighthouse Spain.
