B & R Spain has a new Office in the North

Two years after its Foundation, and despite the current economic situation, the month of July B & R Spain opened its second Office in the North of the country. The delegate of the new Office of San Sebastián is Mikel Imaz, who has matured experience as a technician and Manager of projects in the field of automation. In addition, the new delegate has had a preparation period of 18 months to this new task in the Eggelsberg in Austria power plant.
B & R is already well known in the northern region, since more than 20 years the company Larrioz in Zarautz has had great success with the introduction of (b) innovative technologies & r. Adicionalmente Logitek in Vitoria Office sells products from B & R now almost 3 years. "An Office in the northern area is the natural consequence of our success in automation, especially among machinery manufacturers," says Mikel Imaz. "As soon as the regions of the Basque country, Navarre and La Rioja, represent the second area more important in this sector in Spain." "Many OEM here invest in r & d, offer high-technology machines and certainly need the ' Perfection in Automation' B & R", adds. Also the various technological centres, funded directly by the companies and/or the local government, have expectations very demanding in terms of automation systems. B & R Automation Studio is a software platform that integrates control, motion, CNC, security, visualization and communication, t offers the best solution for them. In addition the existing direct liaison between Matlab/Simulink and Automation Studio enables r & d projects be converted into real applications effortlessly, minimizing the time to make them profitable. Finally they will exploit the closeness of the new Office, different customers already using B & R, including the most representative, Ulma Packaging and Ideko. With the new addition, the customers of B & R Spain now have a staff of 10 engineers for advice, support, development and sales.
