Resurgent market of used cars

In the third quarter of the year, the market of used cars has registered a rise of 2%, although a decrease of 8.7 per cent, according to a report by the National Association of sellers of vehicles (Ganvam) accumulate in the first nine months of the year. Sales of second-hand vehicles rose to 361.100 units, which translates into an increase of 2 per cent over 354,000 units registered between July and September 2008, with the Plan 2000E of direct aid to the purchase.
In the first nine months of 2009, used cars sales reached 992.000 units, reflecting a decrease of 9.7% compared with the 1.08 million units in the same period of the previous financial year.
