GMTK presents his new machine at the EMO exhibition

GMTK is driven by internationally recognized partners that provide viability and strength to the company. One of the founders is the Tekniker technological Center, Center for research and technological development played a central role in the innovative initiatives that affect the Spanish companies of machinery. One of the partners is group Maherholding, holding company dedicated to the manufacture, marketing and distribution of machine tools. Earlier this year has joined the GMTK shareholders Fund of Capital risk Seed Gipuzkoa, created by the institutions and administrations of the Basque country in order to support new businesses considered strategic within the business and industrial fabric.
Integration of processes and strategies of machining capacity
GMTK has developed a new concept of vertical multithreading, christened Accuracer VR machine. The main competitive differential offered by this machine is its ability to integrate processes and machining strategies. The compromise between dynamic (axes up to 40 metres per minute) and force (between 3,000 and 4,000 kilos per axis) allows you to choose the machining strategy (conventional, high speed and high forward) that best suits the requirements of part machining. Also, development and integration of accessories for different processes (apart from the already familiar as milling, drilling, grinding, etc.), allow to offer a solution for complete machining in a single bound, eliminating always unproductive handling times, centering device, etc.
All this, joined the hydrostatic guided of the axes and the solutions adopted in the drives, makes the achievement of significant increases in productivity as well as maximum guarantees of reliability and accuracy.
Accuracer VR range covers a range from 1,600 to 4,000 millimeters of capacity of machining and, today, is completing Assembly and tuning a prototype (with accessories which integrate processes to date never integrated into the concept of machines) of Accuracer VR 2.8 (2,800 mm of tipping and 2,400 of) (maximum height of machining).
The serial manufacture of Accuracer VR is going to carry out in the production facilities of more than 3,200 square meters which GMTK is building in Arrona (Gipuzkoa) and that will be available by the end of 2009.

It has a Department of applications that actively involved in the optimization of machining processes and their parts target in order to improve the productivity and profitability of the end-users of its machines. Heavy and semipesadas of high-value, complex geometry parts are defined as objective GMTK pieces and requiring different operations in the process of machining and manufacturing (finish or roughing and finishing operations). These pieces are concentrated among others in areas such as the wind, aeronautics, oil & gas, steel, etc.
The GMTK applications Department is complemented with an important development department, composed of highly qualified and experienced engineers whose mission is to develop the concepts of machine and accessories that meet the needs explored the area of applications.
