New machines of EDM wire and penetration Ona at Emo 2009

Ona, international specialist in the manufacture of special and large wire EDM machines, will be exhibiting at the stand of the Emo (Hall 1, stand B05) a total of four wire EDM machines. Among the main new features two stand out: the EDM wire Ona AF60 Modular machine and EDM by penetration Ona NX8 Modular machine.
Both models are the new families of EDM machines by wire and AF and NX Modular penetration respectively, which have revolutionized the field of large EDM machines, since they have a modular and versatile design that allows each client to configure your own machine with an unprecedented flexibility.
The range of EDM wire Ona AF Modular machines offers multiple combinations for X-Y-Z tours. In the X axis to choose tours are: 800, 1000, 1,500 or 2,000 mm of travel. The axis Y: 600, 800, 1,000, or 1,300 mm of travel. The axis Z: 500, 600 or 700 mm of travel. EDM wire Ona AF Modular machines, the Court in submerged mode is carried out over 100% of the route of the Z axis, there is no limitation in this regard.
The new generator that incorporates the range AF Modular achieves highest possible cut speeds in wire EDM (450 mm2/minuto with wire of 0.33 mm and 370 mm2/minuto with thread of 0.25 mm diameter)electrolytic corrosion and detrimental to the speed of Court providing a cut 100% free.
