Edeltec will use his stand to promote and explain to clients and stakeholders the company Otec technology. Here we present a brief summary of technology than Otec and Edeltec dominate, on which MetalUnivers-Interempresas will report in successive issues more broadly.
The coating hardened substances and its influence on the properties of the mechanization and creation tools is well known in Otec. To improve the quality of machining and shaping tools are covered the same. The coating is done well by procedure PVD or CVD process and normally consists ceramic materials such as e.g. TiN Titanium Nitride or aluminum nitride AIN. Thanks to this covering, for example, we obtain a significant increase in the useful life of the tools, reduction of coolant lubricant or also an increase in court (chipper) speeds.
Another current issue is the rounding of the edges of cutting tools, aroused more and more interest among technical departments in the industry. It is common knowledge, that the physical condition of the cutting edge has a huge influence in the life and the possible parameters of the tool cutting.
