Technical Department of Kondia: the soul of its technology
Every time customers know more and have more information from very diverse sources, which makes them more demanding. Machine manufacturer must meet all these demands of the market in regards to speed, precision, etc. That said as well, clear sounds easy. However, apart from the obvious technical considerations, Kondia is facing the challenge of addressing areas very diverse, with very different problems. Customers that are directed to the car, the subcontractors, the moldistas, those who work for the sector of medicine and many others, have very specific needs. In this regard a same machine must adapt to different purposes that, surprisingly, a machine designed for threaded or taladrados has different characteristics to another addressed to a complex surface machining.
An increasingly common trend is the manufacture of standard machines but with a customization for each different customer. In addition, this should add the obligation to carry out a specific setting for a particular job.
This is how the Technical Department of Kondia is aimed on the one hand to the development of new products and on the other the up-to-date maintenance of these products in time.
Changes in the Technical Department
I.e. the client attends Kondia with one-piece and explains his need for a team capable of making a certain number of these pieces a year. The entire structure of the machine, bench, gantry, etc., is cooled or heated so that it is stable and is not affected by thermal fluctuations. The objective is to maintain the temperature of the machine at a constant temperature. The spindles are also refrigerated.
The head of the machine reaches 20,000 revolutions. A direct drive which is based on a main shaft powered a motor using direct coupling has been used. It is not an electromandrino.
