It celebrates the annual Assembly of the zenith of the machine tool project
On 5 May 2008 was held the annual meeting of the project Cenit for the machine-tool, "advanced technologies for equipment and manufacturing processes of 2015" which was attended by more than 60 representatives of the technical offices of the companies of the sector and technological centres and universities. In the Assembly, organized by Invema, Unit technology of AFM, which took place at the premises of Fatronik, were the main results achieved in each of the four lines of work of the project: eco-máquina, e, new processes and accuracy and productivity, as well as the progress made in the field of management and dissemination.
With a budget of around 30 million euros, financed by the Centre for Industrial technological development (CDTI), and a duration of 4 years, of which have passed as the first two, he is the largest project carried out research ever by the sector. They participate in it, a total of 20 companies manufacturers of machine tools, that account for more than 60 per cent of the production of the sector and 16 agencies of investigation, which investigated for making machines of the future greener, smartermore efficient and more accurate. Leadership by four of the companies most significant of the sector, such as Danobat, Etxe-tar, Fagor Automation and Nicolás Correa, the purpose of the Cenit project is set to Spanish in a position machine tools strategic on the world market by 2015.
