Mate-Mecos launches a new system of punching machines for cutting tools
"Mate LongLife tools are designed to replace the punchers and traditional moulds and offer exceptional added value to the manufacturing process," says Andy Spence-Parsons, Marketing Manager, Mate. "This tool offers a new option for manufacturers who want to improve their productivity and profitability."
On the other hand, Mate-Mecos announces expansion of its system of XMT tools with the addition of the new 12.7 mm XMT punch, ejector, and 'slug free' array to the new multi to accompany XMTE10 tool.
Designed for use in the new Multi Tool XMTE10 of Euromac 10 workstations, tools XMT 12.7 mm arranged round tools and forms not round with a diagonal dimension up to 0,500 inch (100 mm). These new tools games of Mate to Multi Tool XMTE10 are configured to accept the following:
• 2 x XMT 24 mm hallmarks, ejectors and matrices (round or other forms).
• 4 x XMT 12.7 mm hallmarks, ejectors and matrices (round or other forms).
• 4 x XMT 12.7 mm hallmarks, ejectors and arrays (only round).
XMTE10 is an extension of the multi tools of Euromac (a supplier of machines to work with sheet metal) that manufactures Mate currently including the XMTE6 system of 6 stations.
XMT tools have features that improve the performance of punching. Both the new tools of multi tool XMT 12.7 mm as the current line XMT 24 mm tools are designed with various features to provide the best performance and include hallmarks of steel for high speed (HSS) for the greater interval between sharp. The punches have a taper of a quarter of a degree and almost polished surfaces to reduce friction and eliminate the accession of material on the sides. The hardened ejectors have a close 0,0017 inches (0.04 mm) clearance to better guide to the punch. The matrices have the Slug Free of Mate geometry to eliminate the return of waste. They also consist with a constant clearance RADIUS at the corners to improve the quality of the final piece.
"The expansion of the system of tools Mate XMT and the introduction of the multi tool XMTE10 of Euromac offer more options for users of Euromac punching machines to plan their projects to manufacture, says Andy Spence Parsons, Marketing Manager, Mate.""With a wide range of tools for the Euromac punching machines, users can choose the tools that conform more to their projects."
• Insert of punch to lengthen the life of tool: the awl Mate LongLife inserts are made from a high speed of high quality steel to provide the maximum number of intervals between the sharp. They are available in two standard sizes: rectangles of 5 x 56 mm and 5 mm x 76,20.
• Portainsertos for the awl improved time adjustment: there are two options of portainsertos to the punch. One includes a ring of an integral alignment for a fast and accurate tool Assembly. The second requires a ring of high-strength lineup to allow the flexibility of positioning angles manually. The portainsertos for the Mate LongLife punch powered the ejectors (costumed) conventional machine.
• The portamatrices are suitable for steel of coal thickness up to 3 mm: the matrix inserts are available in two sizes, 5 x 56 mm rectangles and 5 x 76.2 mm with increases in clearance of 0.10 mm + 0,10 mm to + 0.60 mm.
• Portamatrices with accurate orientation: the inserts of the matrix have two options to be mounted in the portamatrices - one that allows inserts with a length up to 56 mm, and another for inserts up to 76.2 mm in length.
These portamatrices have a very precise angle alignment at 0 and 90 degrees and offer greater flexibility.
