SIL 2007 closed with more than 48,000 visitors

In total, SIL2007 has had 1,000 participating companies, of which 60 per cent have been national and the 40 remaining from 66 foreign countries.
Other highlights of the event were the choice of Mexico as a guest of the SIL and Egypt as a guest to the logistical 5th Forum of the Mediterranean, as well as the holding of the third edition of the SIL Awards, which were for Paul-Friederich Drumm, CEO of Linde Material Handling Iberian as best national logistics entrepreneur; Juan Antonio Treviño, President of the center logistics Madrid South Ciudad Real for the best national logistics project; Giuseppe Chiellino, CEO of CEVA Logistics as best international logistics project Spain; and Michael Proffitt, Advisor delegate in Dubai Logistics City as best international project.
SIL 2007 also hosted the night of the Exhibitor, a new session of networking to increase business opportunities for the participants in the Hall, and the 1st day ANFAC, closed in charge of Mr. Manel Nadal, Secretary General of the Ministry of Territorial Planning and public works of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
The SIL, always ahead of the challenges for the future of the sector: new technologies and sustainability, hosted the first edition of the RFIDmed seminars on technology of RFID and the first Ibero-American workshop of experts, on integration of sustainability in the transport and logistics.
