Aimplas signs an agreement with Franhofer ICT to promote Spanish innovation in EU projects

Aimplas has signed an agreement of cooperation with the German Franhofer ICT technology centre that will enhance the collaboration between Spanish and German researchers for the development of new materials and applications in the plastics sector.
the main objectives of the Convention is the collaboration in European projects of the 7th framework programme of the European Union. This strategic alliance will boost the presence of Spanish companies in r + d projects on plastic materials and their processes of transformation. Thus SMEs will have the opportunity of access to the major technological developments and receive an economic return of European aid, getting so as to improve its position in the global market.
This agreement is intended to increase the number of SMEs who participated in the previous programme of innovation in the European Union. Aimplas participated in the development of more than 20 European r & d projects to improve the technical properties, optimize resources and promote environmental sustainability of processes and plastic materials in sectors such as packaging and packagingthe nautical, agriculture, aquaculture, or the automotive industry. Aimplas thus became the technological centre of the Valencian Community with greater economic return of the 6th framework programme of the European Union.
The signing of the agreement between Aimplas and Franhofer ICT is a step forward in the participation of SMEs in European innovation projects of the current framework programme, enabling companies to have an opportunity of expansion and growth and an increased presence in emerging markets.
