Intense international activity of the Spanish machine tool manufacturers in Mexico and France

From 6 to 9 March was held in Mexico City, the twelfth edition of the exhibition technology in machine tools, Tecma 2007 participation Spanish the most relevant of the fair, with 17 exhibiting companies occupied a net area of 624 square meters. The companies exhibiting at Tecma, all of them associated with AFM, were: Autopulit, Fagor Automation, Gamor, Geka, GH Electrotermia, Global Machinery, Goiti, Ineco, Jordi, Lantek, Loire Safe, Metosa-Pinacho, Nicolás Correa - Anayak, saws Sabi, Trimek and Zayer. The Spanish stands received the visit of Mariano Muela, Chief Adviser of the commercial office and economic Spain in Mexico. The participating companies showed his satisfaction by the high level of contacts during the celebration of the show, having achieved the objectives set.

Mexico, country which has occupied the third place as destination of Spanish exports in 2005 and 2006, is going through a situation of political and economic stability that has brought about a remarkable growth in sales in the machine tool sector. Companies are working to full capacity of production, in particular, in auxiliary sectors of automobile, automotive, and construction.

On the other hand, also from 6 to 9 March, was held in Exhibition Center Eurexpo exhibition site in Lyon the second edition of the international fair Industrie Lyon. On this occasion were nine Spanish companies of machine tools, associated with AFM, which exposed their machines: Agme Danobat, Electrotermia GH, Ibarmia, Lantek, Nicolas Correa-Anayak, Ona EDM, Denn-Puigjaner and Ger, occupying 655 square meters. In general, the results of the fair were satisfactory for the exhibiting companies and he is expected to maintain the level of sales on the French market.
