About 300 people took part in the Forum on industrial innovation and globalization of Ascamm
on June 23, 2006
Among the speakers were outstanding and recognized employers that made known their own personal experiences and the actions that their respective undertakings (Simon Holding, Indus, Germans Boada and Sogefi Filtration) have been carried out to improve their processes in technological and non-technological innovationthat have enabled them to strengthen their positions in international markets.
Also, the representatives of the different administrations (Cidem, DGPYME-MITYC) made known programs that have been made in support of technological innovation and the most important actions which are expected to carry out in the future to improve this process. The theme of the industry to globalization, is on board with a presentation by a representative of "la Caixa".
All of them agreed on the need to combine and intensify the efforts that are necessary to promote the development of research and technological innovation and innovation in other business areas, such as deciding factors to enhance the competitiveness of our business from the unstoppable and irreversible effects of globalization. Also identified the need to deal with the internationalization of enterprises from specific approaches appropriate to their own strategies.
Since the Ascamm Foundation stresses that "no one puts in doubt today the key role of technological innovation as the engine of change and differentiation in the market." However, in the current globalized industrial environment, technology, still essential, provides a competitive advantage increasingly small and short-lived, so companies with authentic vocation for the future must make systemic approaches and avoid cuts that do fail their best strategies. "Hence, therefore, our commitment to innovation in its broadest sense."
A. Peñarroya, President Fundación Ascamm and j. Fàbrega, Delegate General of the institutional market of Barcelona and its province of "La caixa".
