The Röhm Methacrylates operational division of Degussa is concentrating its installations for the production of masses of moulding of polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA). The objective of this concentration is to optimise production capacity in line with the evolution of global demand in terms of mass of moulding. Measures introduced include the relocation of production facilities of granulate of masses of moulding of the joint production of Degussa plant in Wesseling production plant which has the operational Division at Worms, made on October 1.
Thomas Haeberle, director of the Division operational Röhm methacrylates, pointed out that the concentration of production is carried out in view of the evolution of the demand forecast in the major markets for masses of standard and special moulding.
