First meeting of the Signpost of experts with the partners of the project Osirys in Aimplas

The past 8 May took place in the installations of Aimplas the first meeting between the partners of the project Osirys and the Signpost of Experts, commissioned to offer external advice to the partners of the project. In the sector of the edificación, the quality of the inner air and the pertinent broadcasts of the materials of edificación have supposed an important challenge for the scientists, the industry and the consumers during the last decades. The project Osirys will treat to improve the quality of the inner environingingment and the energetic efficiency from the development of biocomposites and products of forestry origin for faã§ades and tabiquería inner.

For this will employ thermoplastic and thermostable reinforced with natural fibres and will put special attention in the additives, especially in the retardantes of the fire. Once they conclude the works of investigation will proceed to realizar a demonstration of the application of the system in a pilot building and in two new buildings in Spain and Sweden, to do the validation in two so different climates. These new technologies will be able to apply so much under construction new as in works of reform.

Osirys Is a project of collaboration (7º Program Marco, number hire 609067), with a length of four years, funded by the European Commission. It is formed by 18 members of eight European countries different that will work with new materials of construction ecologically innovative, which will be able to provide an inner environingingment healthier. The Signpost of Experts will suppose a forum so much to debate between them as to comment the results of the project. These members will receive an information advanced on the new technologies and will have the possibility to orient the results of the project.
