1. Introduction

Currently, it is possible to affirm that the CAD/CAM applications have reached a high level of development, and thus the market provides a wide variety of them so it is possible to choose to adapt to the intrinsic needs of each machining.

On the other hand, it is also correct to say that the structure of work of such applications, in general, follow a pattern, and thus, the essential steps to achieve the generation of a program of CN begin to make a drawing of the piece to machiningto continue with the implementation CAM which, after an initial configuration, defined for each of the operations to perform their technological characteristics and the selection of entities that come from the CAD design.

In addition, prior to the final step of post-processing, most of the applications include visualization on-screen trajectories of machining.

Such trajectories of machining correspond to a display graphic defined operations and not strictly the CN program to obtain.

At this point it is necessary to indicate that in the post-processing is entrusted the responsibility to a compiler. This, supposedly correct, will develop a CN program under the control of the machine which is mecanizará.

Due to different variables that affect the procedure, the actual working conditions imply the possibility of errors. This causes that, sometimes, the end result does not correspond with the objectives set initially.

In this paper will be a process of generation of CN programs through a CAD/CAM application, to which, before it's shipped to machine, you will be a verification and analysis off-line, to enable the determination of the deviations that exist with respect to the design.

This verification and analysis will be carried out through the use of machining simulation software so that, regardless of the machine in which it is intended to carry out the work, it will be possible to view the piece to obtain, as well as to identify measures and geometric elements of which will be composed with the machining of the CN program obtained in the application CAD/CAM.

2 Experimental

As an example of development presents a practical implementation, which will discover a posteriori errors than with a conventional process would result in a faulty part and that, thanks to the technique developed in this paper, are detected in time modify those aspects which committed.

To do this, there are both software CAD/CAM, and off-line simulation, and machinery for the manufacture of the piece to present.

3 Findings

This paper is a contribution of improvement to the existing CAD/CAM applications business, trying to include a relevant aspect of significant influence in the final productivity of the machining process.
