The Cdti and Invema visit Izar

The past 18 December, Izar Cutting Tools received the visit of Andrés Zabara, director of Promotion and Cooperation of the Cdti and Patricia Tamés, director of the foundation Invema. During the visit to Izar, Zabara and Tamés could know at first hand the activity of design, manufacture and distribution of tools of cut, that has converted to the Biscayan company in pioneer in Spain, planting it in a leading position in the main European markets.

Regarding the exporting activity, has increased of form very remarkable during the last years, what has contributed to the growth of the global exports of the country and has contributed his part in the balance of the scales of payments and in the economic recovery of the same. In this sense, represented them of Invema and Cdti could know the bet by part of Izar, like company of social economy, by the manufacture and the employment.

Izar Finds immersed at present in several projects of investigation for the development of new tools of high performance, between which finds the European project Eureka, with continental collaborators. Inside the Strategic Plan of Izar for 2014/2016, contemplates continue with the politics of investigation and development of new products and processes, receiving also in this case to the support of the European financials and to the collaboration with partners of countries like Germany, Austria or France.

So much Zabara like the Tamés had the opportunity to know at first hand so much the processes of manufacture, as to the people involved in each phase of the project, which considered very interesting.
