Anfac gathers with the minister of Environingingment, Miguel Arias Cañete

The minister of Agriculture, Feeding and Environingingment, Miguel Arias Cañete, has gathered with representatives of Anfac (Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Trucks and Trucks), specifically with his president, Rafael Prieto, and with his executive vice-president, Mario Armero.

The representatives of Anfac have moved to the minister the important positive repercussions that on the market, the society and the environingingment, has had the Plan PIMA Air, and the well that it would be the continuity of these plans of face to the future.

The Plan has attained some savings of consumption, measured in litres of fuel, of 4,6 million litres, with an economic equivalent of 6,5 million euros. It has avoided the broadcast to the atmosphere closely of 12.500 million tonnes to the year of CO₂. If we refer us to particles, have been some total savings of 59 million tonnes to the year, 368 million tonnes of NO_x and 1.700 million tonnes of CO.

The Plan has supposed the renewal of a total of 29.000 vehicles, whose half has been of 16 years. Therefore, thanks to this Plan, now circulate 29.000 new vehicles “loaded of technology”, much more efficient from the energetic point of view and much safer.

With an endowment of 38 million euros, the Plan has served also like dinamizador of the economy and like an element more than contribution to the fiscal payment. The PIMA Air has increased the production of the Spanish economy in 537 million euros, since the positive effect no only affects to the manufacture but also to the sectors of the distribution, financials, insurance, components of automotive sector, etc.

In spite of the excellent results harvested by the Plan PIMA Air regarding the dynamism of the market, the park of light commercial vehicles continue ageing of significant way. From here the importance to continue with the politics of renewal of the ancient vehicles, that so good results is giving to our country.
