The IX Forum of the Competitiveness organised in the Regional Federation of Employers of the Metal of Murcia, Fremm, has served so that the own companies of metalmecánica expose to the rest of the Region the innovations that are facing in his businesses, with the end that they are example for the employers more distanciados, as well as of shop window for his positioning in the market. The meeting was inaugurated by the adviser of Industry, Company and Innovation, José Crossbow, beside the presidents of the Metal, Juan Antonio Muñoz, and of the Association of manufacturers of Machinery of the Region of Murcia, Afamur, Gregorio Navarro.

The organisation of the event, to charge of Fremm and of Afamur, integral in the federation of the metal, has given a twist of 180 degrees in the approach of the forum in his ninth edition to turn into leading to the companies of metalmecánica that have done of the innovation the key for the continuous improvement of his businesses. Like this, during the celebrated day in the headquarters of Fremm, eleven employers presented the products, services and models of new management promoted or adapted to his societies like road to improve the attention to his customers, increase his productivity or increase his value added in front of his competition in the global market. The presentation of the technological novelties, to charge of the pertaining companies to associations and guilds linked to the field of the metalmecánica and auxiliaries, constituted one of the moments álgidos of the forum.
Likewise, developed two reports. The first treated on ‘The innovation like key of the continuous improvement and the competitiveness', with Jesús Manzano, director of the School of Business Innovation, the one who resaltó that “the constant innovations produce in all the organisations a process of continuous improvement that allows them compete in inmejorables conditions in his markets, face successfully his expansion and, like consequence, survive in spite of the storms”, in addition to encouraging to the companies to “create or modify permanently products, services, processes and strategies with own ideas or “loaned” and recover approaches forgotten that they can go back to be very useful, will allow to the companies travel to his future with hygiene and success”.
The second report centred in the ‘New service for exporting companies. Management of credit', with Bertrand Mahón and Soraya Otero Go out, general director and director respectively in Spain and Portugal of FDI Payment Institution, those who contributed solutions for the payment of bills in other countries.
Bows for the cooperation
The forum had a heterogeneous public formed by employers, directors and pertinent technicians of companies manufacturers of machinery agroalimentaria, chemical and of the construction, as well as of packaging and packagings, machinery and equipment of automotive sector, metal structures, smelting and forges, among others. All they participated of active form in the most dynamic part of the event, consistent in an informal business meeting on exchange of impressesions, as well as of promotion of contacts with the purpose to promote the business cooperation.
In the organisation of the IX Forum, the hosts had the support of the financial entities Cajamar and Bank Mare Nostrum, the School of Business Innovation, EIE, and of FDI Payment Institution.
Data of metalmecánica
Inside the sector of the metal, stands out the Industry metalmecánica that, beside the industry agroalimentaria, is in the head of the Regional Industry. Of the 8.000 companies of the Metal registered in the Region, some 2.000 are industries, what supposes the fourth part. Regarding employment, this subsector has 15.000 places of work, near of the third of the total of workers in this group of business activity.
