Aimplas Consolidates the International Seminar of Biopolymers and Composites Sustainable

The Technological Institute of the plastic organises the V edition of his International Seminar of Biopolymers and Composites Sustainable that will celebrate in Valency the days 6 and 7 of the next month of March. Thanks to the success of his four previous editions, the meeting has consolidated like one of the big appointments to international level in the field of the bioplásticos and biocomposites to the that will attend the main companies of the sector.

In his last edition, the seminar had the assistance of more than 150 people. This year the meeting has structured in four big blocks that will give foot to the participants to debate and put on the table the challenges and opportunities to which will have to confront the market of the bioplásticos and biocomposites in the future.

The event will begin with an introductory session on biomateriales and sustainable development that will have the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Feeding and Environingingment and the European association European Bioplastics. In the back blocks will expose the novelties and emergent tendencies in plastics of natural origin and/or biodegradable. Likewise, they will tackle new appearances related with the development of bioplásticos reinforced with natural fibres. To continuation, will give to know cases of success in the production of bioplásticos and biocomposites. For this the seminar will have the participation of big signatures like Nestlé and Faurecia. Of the hand of the speakers of this third block will expose the application of these innovative materials in industrial states like the one of packs and packaging and automotive sector.

Finally, the expert participants in the Seminar will tackle the distinct sustainable options of end of life of these materials, from his separation until the industrial valorisation.
