UPM Remembers that it is the “only business organisation representative of the sector metal of Barcelona”

In front of some informations appeared recently, from the Joined Patronal Metal•lúrgica (UPM) and Foment of the Treball have issued a communiqué by which remark that UPM is the “only business organisation representative in the sector of the metal of Barcelona”. Like this, they communicate that, fulfilling with the exigencias of the Statute of the Workers, “has capacity to negotiate and sign collective agreements with general efficiency and, therefore, applicable to the whole of the companies and workers of the sector”.

On the other hand, the communiqué does upsetting in that any another organisation has justified the representation of, like minimum, 110% of the companies and workers of the sector of the metal, “indispensable requirement for the sectorial collective negotiation, as it determines the quoted Estauto of the Workers in his articles 87 and 88”.
