The exports of the sector of goods of team grow 4,3% and attenuate the fall of the turnover in 2012
In 2012 the exports went back to be determinantes for the industry with a growth of 4,3%, that adds to 16,9% reached in the previous exercise. The group of the sector invoiceed a total of 38.258 million euros in front of the 39.000 millions achieved in 2011, what involves a light fall of 2 points porcentuales in the turnover. An industry that engloba a total of 135.000 direct employments and 400.000 indirect.
The exports have showed to be the only road for paliar the effects of the feeble economic activity of the country, the uncertainty of the zone euro, the fault of credit to the companies and the collapse of the internal demand. The internal market goes back to diminish 13,3% although the available prices have showed better behaviour that the inflation with a promotion reduced of 1,4%.
By his part, the imports continue with his negative tendency with a descent of 8,2%, figure that acrecienta the fall of 0,1% experienced in 2011.
In the terrain of the contracting (requests received and agreements signed) the figures also have resentful with a reduction of 4,4%, fact that will condition the start of 2013. The difficult economic situation and financial that crosses the country has carried to the disappearance of a good number of companies of goods of team, being the most affected the SMEs. Analysing the distinct sectors of this so transversal industry checks that the electrical companies-electronic (motors generators, transformers, electrical cables, equipment of office and computers, devices of navigation and detection…) register a more stressed descent in his turnover that the companies metalmecánicas (boilers, nuclear reagents, pipes, structures, machines tool, agricultural machinery, turbines, etc.).
By specialitys, the electronic equipment and the metallic products are those that show a more contracted evolution in his figures. The contracting and the levels of employment in both subsectores, electrical-electronic and metalmecánico, also have seen affected by the delicate situation that crosses the country.
Forecasts of the industry for 2013
The evolution of the sector for the current year will come influenciada by the behaviour of the situation of Spain and of the rest of the world. The perspectives for the present exercise are uncertain, although it expects that it was a year of transition and of sostenimiento of the productive capacities without merma of the employment. They exist positive signals fruit of the attainments achieved in the Scales by Common Account of the country: decrease of the external indebtedness of the companies, desapalancamiento of the Spanish economy and increase of the competitiveness of the industry.
