Yaskawa Purchases the majority accionarial of Vipa

The European subsidiary of Yaskawa Electric Corporation —Yaskawa Europe— has reached an agreement with Vipa Gesellschaft für Visualisierung und Prozessautomatisierung mbH, by which purchases the majority of the actions of Vipa. With the integration of this company in the organisation of Yaskawa Europe, the Japanese signature is applying his plan to complete his wallet of products with the end to turn into a ‘global provider of solutions'. A combination of the wallet of products Vipa of PLCs, modules of And/S and HMI, with the line of products Yaskawa of variators, servos and industrial robots, will allow to this to offer a wide portafolio of complete solutions of automation for a wide group of markets.

“Vipa Complements perfectly to Yaskawa. The wallets of products of both parts no solapan, but they complement , offering a big potential of synergies”, affirms Koichi Takamiya, CEO and regional director for Europe. “The narrow cooperation with the global organisation of YASKAWA offers big opportunities of growth for Vipa, in particular in Asia and America”, explains Wolfgang Seel, general director of Vipa.
