Practical applications of the RD 1215/1997 in chemical plants and stations of treatment of waters

Bequinor organises the course ‘practical Applications of the RD 1215/1997 in chemical plants and stations of treatment of waters'. The RD 1215/1997 is of application to all the equipment of work (machines, installations, tools…) used by the workers in the work. In his article 4 establishes the obligation that those equipment of work whose hygiene depend on his conditions of installation subject to a comprobación initial, after his installation and before the set up for the first time, and to a new comprobación after each setting in a new place or emplazamiento, so as to ensure the correct installation and the good operation of the equipment. This obligation is independent of the fact that the installed equipment carry or no marked CE.

Although the Royal decree refers to all the equipment of work, there is not doubt that the minimum disposals of the Annex I, of forced fulfillment, are written thinking fundamentally in industrial machinery. Thus, in the case of chemical plants or of treatment of waters, sometimes does difficult the ‘adjust' between the compliance of the equipment of installed work and the minimum disposals of the Royal decree.

This course aspires as to facilitate the task of application of the RD 1215/1997 from two punto mainly:

1. Helping to understand how focus the compliance of the different equipment of work in the concrete case of the installations object of the course;

2. Providing, in the practical case, a ‘staff' that it can be used afterwards like model in the real installation of the student.

When finishing the course, the student has to be in conditions to draft the documentation that serve of base to leave proof of the incumplimientos of the Royal decree and the measures to take to solve them (the project of put in compliance). Once completed the real work of correction of no compliances, this documentation will serve of justification when it was necessary to accredit the fulfillment of the Royal decree 1215/1997. The project of put in compliance has to be the sufficiently detailed, including components of concrete hygiene to install, if it is the case, to allow the real work of adecuación of the machine, of form resembled how the project of an electrical installation allows to an installer llevar it.

Although this course does not go in in the Directive of Machines, 2006/42/CE, yes that, when finishing, the student has to be able also to understand clearly when his company is only user of machines (or equipment of work in general), subjects always to the RD 1215/1997, and when is besides manufacturer of equipment subjected, therefore, to the marked CE.

The course will develop the next 7 March in the Hotel NH Prince of Vergara (Madrid) in schedule of morning of 09:30 to 14:00 h. And of afternoon of 15:00 to 19:00 h.
