14 January 2013
The main institutions and business organisations of Catalonia have decided to summon unitariamente the act ‘Anem per feina' (that it could translate with some ‘Hands to the work') that will celebrate the next 14 February in the Palace of Congresses of Barcelona, in Fair of Montjuïc. The maximum representatives of the Camera of Trade of Barcelona, Fepime, the Catalan Association of the Familiar Company, Aijec and Pimec have taken this decision in the meeting celebrated the past day 10 January in the headquarters of Foment of the Treball, impulsor initial of the mobilisation. The Circle of Economy, that also assisted to the meeting, will pose the initiative in the next session plenaria of his managerial board.
Said institutions pose this act of business mobilisation from a constructive perspective “and like exercise of responsibility to recognise the contribution of the private enterprise to the progress and welfare attained in the last decades and like offer of understanding between the different social sectors in favour of the future of the country”.
Programmed initially for the past month of October, the act ‘Anem per feina' postponed not to interfere in the announcement of elections to the Parlament of Catalonia. The business institutions consider this moment like “the most timely to transmit a constructive message, with capacity to promote the business activity and realise a self-evident of his adhesion to the current model of society with the values of the ethical, the commitment and the social cohesion like essential axles to face up the current economic crisis”. Likewise, another aim is to contribute to a climate of dialogue and pact.
