Yaskawa Inaugurates his new European headquarters

Yaskawa, manufacturer of industrial robots and technology deaccionamientos, has invested 12,5 million euros in his new ‘shop window for  Europe', inaugurated the past 23 October. The company considers his investment in Allershausen like a confirmation of his commitment with his location in Baviera. A year after putting the first stone, the new building, now inaugurated, finished in the planned time. The new building of three plants, situated in a finca of 14.000 square metres just at the side of the motorway To9, has 18 metres of height and is clearly visible from far. With more than 6.200 square metres of surface, offers some conditions of ideal work. The external design follows the same style of the headquarters of the division of robotics of Yaskawa in Japan.

In the opening ceremony, Manfred Stern, president and COO of Yaskawa Europe GmbH, described the function of the new installations: “Allershausen is our centre of competition for the countries of the region EMEA”. From Allershausen, the Division of Robotics of Yaskawa Europe GmbH has covered the markets of Europe, Africa, Middle East and the countries of the ancient Soviet Union from 1994. The new building will concentrate his activity in the central functions, like the total support to the customer, investigation and development, adaptation to measure of systems to specific customers, and logistical. Also it will receive the 50 new employees in process of incorporation to Yaskawa, some already during 2012.

The European director of Yaskawa Electric Corporation, Koichi Takamiya (Board of directors, regional boss of Europe) describes the general strategy: “When reinforcing these central functions will be able to offer to our customers a value added still greater and expand even more our sales of robots. The increase of space and of technical capacities will allow us all these tasks”.
