The turning of steels with low content of carbon with good results, results with frequency a hard task with the geometries of conventional cutting, where the constant golpeteo of the shavings is used to to cause interruptions in the production. Like solution to this problem, Sandvik Coromant enters now LC, a geometry of cut to face this very frequent difficulty in the mechanised of these materials.
By means of the offer of a more effective evacuation of shaving and a lower risk of golpeteo of the same during the process of mechanised, the design of geometry of cut supposes a step to the mechanised without problems in this area. A minimum risk of deterioration of the tool, derived of a better evacuation of the shaving, contributes to promote the productivity at the same time that the superficial finishing of the pieces also will see favoured.
