This tool combines a design of propeller, positive and negative, that "compresses" the upper and lower end of the component and thus minimizes any possibility of fraying: a defect common to the machining of CFRP and many other types of special composites.
Suitable for applications of edging materials of a minimum thickness of 6 mm, the strawberry of slotted compression CoroMill Plura presents a microgeometria optimized with six effective cutting edges that provide a surface finish (Ra) well below 4 µm and speeds startup of metal. In addition, to reduce vibrations, is recommended for use with conventional strategies of milling in contrast. This tool is based on quality GC1630, which offers a long service life, and is available in diameters 6.0 to 16.0 mm, and lengths (total) from 76 to 100 mm.
