Modules of stainless steel: with protection IP 69K for his direct use in machine
The modules EtherCAT Box EQxxxx of Beckhoff with carcasa of stainless steel V2To fulfil with the type of protection IP 69K. In this way they are conceived for his use directly in the machine in fields of utilisation in which they govern high hygienic standards as, for example, in the alimentary industry, chemical or pharmaceutical. A wide range of digital and analog components satisfies the typical requirements of I/Or.
Beckhoff Expands his systems of I/Or with the modules EtherCAT Box of the line EQ with finishing in stainless steel including a series more with type of protection IP 69K. In this way, with the high performance of EtherCAT is possible to register, evaluate and control directly in the machine even processes and signals in delicate areas in what to hygiene respecta. It fulfils with all the requirements of the «Hygienic Design»: the carcasa, including all the threaded unions, is done completely of stainless steel. The threaded unions are mounted to ras without inconvenient outlines. The modules mount by means of a square of fixation saving some distance to the machine and/or to the installation. Of this form avoids that they remain gaps and slots no wished in which it can deposit dirt, allowing to his time a safe cleaning.
Thanks to the impermeabilidad of the carcasa, corresponding to the type of protection IP 69K, these modules of stainless steel guarantee the resistance to the corrosion and the impermeabilidad in front of the humidity, and can clean with devices of cleaning of high pressesure. The series EtherCAT Box EQxxxx is qualified for the rank of temperatures expanded of -25…+60 °C (temperature of storage -40…+85 °C), with what can employ in zones with extreme climatic conditions.
The interface EtherCAT integrated cheese cheese allows to connect the modules directly to a network EtherCAT without need to use a Coupler Box additional. Like this it keeps the high performance of EtherCAT in each one of the modules. Each module is a device EtherCAT to 100% and a slave EtherCAT independent that can connect directly to any another device EtherCAT by means of a wire Ethernet with 100BASE-TX.
