The digital and analog modules SERCOS III of the line of compact products of And/S Inline Block IO of Phoenix Contact allow to connect of fast and simple form sensors and actuators to a network SERCOS III.

The digital module has 16 digital entrances and 16 entrances and digital exits combined. The configuration of the channels combined of entrance and exit realises easily without internal parametrisation, without more than connecting a sensor, if it wants to use the channel like digital entrance, or an actuator, if it wants to employ like exit. This flexible possibility of combination of entrances and exits allows an optimum adaptation to the efficiency of And/S of the application. The small times of retardo of the entrances and the exits (ton type 50 µs, toff type 150 µs) allow his employment so much in applications of the technician of regulation, like applications of control of movements.

The analog module is instrumented with four entrances and two exits that can configure of individual and independent form. The four differential entrances allow to detect signals of current of 0 mA to 20 mA, 4 mA to 20 mA and ±20 mA or signals of tension of 0 V to 10 V, ±10 V, 0 V to 5 V and ±5 V or the measurement of the temperature by means of termorresistencias (RTD). In the side of the exit there is available signals of current or of tension by each channel. So much the entrances like the exits possess a resolution of 16 bits. Because of the small times of conversion and the fast processing of the data, the analog variant indicates especially for the applications in the area of the technician of verification and regulation.
