The lathe Kummer model K250 LSK has been designed to reduce the times improductivos in 50%.
Conceived to benefit fully of the precision, acceleration and speed of the linear motors, the cabezal of this model K250 LSK is suspended on a rigid bancada 'gantry' of 7 t filled up with synthetic cement. The mass in movement represents only 2,5% of the total weight of the machine.
The hard turning, economic alternative to the rectified is a specialisation of Kummer and is the best solution for the finishing of subject temperate pieces to severe requests of dimensional and geometrical tolerances, as well as to obtain fine superficial finishings (< Ra 0,2).
