Fagor has developed the 8070 CNC high performance and ability to control up to four heads and 28 axes simultaneously, it is specially designed for machining of high precision contour.

It is able to govern machining centres centres of turning with various turret and several heads, as well as combined machines torno-fresa or fresa-torno. Displacement not involved in the machining of the piece, feeders, lunettes and counterpoints, configured as independent axes that move run freely, not interrupting the machining of the piece.

Backward compatibility allows you to edit the Fagor 8040 CNC machining programmes 8050 and 8055, not being necessary to return to schedule these parts for CNC 8070. It is also possible to then use these programs in other workshop machines equipped with CNC 8040, 8050 and 8055.

Algorithms improved machining at high speed and the combined use of splines and polynomial transitions, which incorporates the CNC, improves the quality of machining, obtaining court-speed higher, softer contours, better surface quality and greater accuracy, faithfully reproducing the surface scheduled with the highest quality tolerances.

Synchronization of heads enables lathes, machining of the piece in a single bound, docking both heads in speed and synchronizing them in position, not being necessary to perform any search reference.

Available functions for the machining on inclined planes and supports all types of headsets: spherical, orthogonal, angular, rotary tables and the combination of tilt heads and rotary tables for machining with 5 axes RTCP and tangential control.
