To facilitate the supply of refrigerant high pressure (HPC), Sandvik Coromant has incorporated a range of Coromant Capto toolholder with a locking mechanism for use in cutting standard CoroTurn HP units. The combination of the HPC and quick-change Coromant Capto clamping technology provides customers an optimized utilization of the machine through adjustment times and smaller cycles.
Designed for fixed holders of the centers of turning and vertical lathes, this innovation benefiting manufacturers dedicated to the machining of materials long chip as heat-resistant superalloys, titanium, stainless steel, duplex and high alloy steel.
