Hexagon Metrology at the EMO 2007
Signature Wilcox Associates, Inc., the software company launches PC-DMIS 4.2. This release represents an extension of the functionality of the software, improving its use and represents the commitment to make further progress in the field of metrological software. Advances posed a greater interest to the user community are as follows:
-Better processing of the CAD files.
-Availability of tools "autopath".
-Improvements in the choice of measurement of gears including greater functionality for the creation of profiles.
-Supports new sensors, including the MMC-V sensor based on a camera.
-Can manage sensor laser Perceptron both lines of fixed machines as portable.
-Support for additional tools for the innovative solution PC-DMIS NC controllers.
-Innovative measurement options including a best fit for the tolerance of the profiles.
-Functions improved to digitize using sensors point to point and analogue and data management.
-Dynamic type Hypertext editing options that improve the reading and viewing of the program.
-A new feature of buildings includes the creation of circles within the triangles.
-A greater control over the implementation of the programme with the possibility of creating tables of message and the conditional application of tolerances during the implementation of the programme.
-Greater flexibility in viewing and setting up the window of the graphics and CAD models.
-The new "flexible reports creation" tools create reports with almost any type of configuration because the option "select and drag".
Fast and accurate measuring robots
Hexagon Metrology presents at fair of measuring of horizontal arm systems that complement known Bravo lines, master, premium and Toro Bravo HP models.
Bravo HP, with advanced technology and a reasonable price, has been created to provide appropriate applications that satisfazgan the needs of the market in a flexible and precise dimensional inspection in components with thin as the bodywork of cars and their components surfaces.
The mechanical structure accurate, stable and robust; the integrated thermal compensation system; the wide range of sensors, heads, heads spinning and accessories and high quality software; they make Bravo HP systems of measuring robots effective and easy to use in any environment measurement.
Bravo HP presents a few fields of expansion of 4,000 to 9,000 mm in the X axis (can be even longer axes), 1,600 mm in the axis of and and 2,100 to 3,000 mm in the Z axis. The precision of measurements starts in 20 + 15 L/1000 _m.
Leica T-Mac joins the family of portable CMMs
Leica Geosystems Portable MMCs world carried a higher level to expand the features of their systems of "laser tracking" with the possibility of taking data wirelessly with a maximum mobility (Leica T-Probe) and a quick scanning non-contact (Leica T-Scan). The Leica T-Mac (Tracker-Machine control sensor) is the latest device to join on the shelves. It responds to the needs of a growing number of clients that have replaced the Leica T-Probe for automatic measurement applications or intending to do so. The device is mounted on robots or machines whose position must be controlled in a 6DoF space without the need of a point of contact. It presents a special adaptation so that it can be installed easily, with additional reflector nests to calibrate and guidance without effort.
In addition to the portable CMMs, Leica Geosystems has his family of laser trackers. There are a total of five different configurations.
For the standard measurement, there are two systems available: LT640 Leica Laser Tracker and Leica LTD640 Laser Tracker. The Leica LT640 configuration is designed for general industrial applications of precision with a volume of measuring up to 80 m. The Leica LTD640 model presents an Absolute Distance Meter (ADM), which facilitates the automatic light capture to make faster measurement processes.
CMMS Global line grows
The well-known line of machines for measuring Global has a new model: the Global 5.x.5, ideal for inspection of small parts.
The Global 5.x.5, competitive price and productivity, is available in two models, the 5.5.5. Global and Global 5.5.5 (with respective fields of measurement of (X = 500 mm, and = 500 mm, Z = 500 mm, and X = 500 mm))(, And = 700 mm, Z = 500 mm). Like all machines of her line, there are three versions: Classic, Performance and Advantage (the latter is only available for the model 5.5.5).
Maximum flexibility of work and a wide range of configurations are the peculiarities of the new 5.x.5, like all machines of measuring Global.
